Labour

This focus area aims at building an accessible and transdisciplinary body of research around the development and governance of digital/networked economies and welfare systems, so that communities at the peripheries may be able to resist, (re)negotiate and transform conditions of social, economic and political instabilities and inequalities.
The work produced will strive to accumulate incremental, favourable gains in social justice struggles through direct and indirect contributions to knowledge-building at various levels—the grassroots, civil society networks, academia, public commons and policy spaces.
